The only times we really noticed was at breakfast and at the elevators. While at STV there was a large convention/ 100% occupancy. There was a concierge, and he either stopped by or talked to us many times to be sure everything was going well. Not sure if it is because we were non-pref? SMB's room was fine, perhaps a little bit tired, it is about 5 yrs older than STV. The maid came mostly late morning to mid afternoon. They also have a jacuzzi in the room/STV has at higher room levels. Perhaps Zu can address that here?Īt SMB there is the secrets box which is nice, because you don't see food in the hallways. There were many stairs at STV.we discovered a ramp at the right of the property, but didn't see a way down to the beach without many steps. Since STV is new, there weren't many flowers in bloom, but I did see many buds.but being that it has the small footprint, it cannot match SMB's lush foliage which was noticeably much better than 2 years ago. Heard some loud music at Sandos, no more than 1/2 hour early one evening. We were on Hard Rock side one night before we upgraded, and then on the Sandos side. Supposedly we had a butler, but we don't remember him dropping by. By the time we returned from breakfast, our room was done. The Jr suite was wonderful at STV.so new, so big, and great views. Red flags were out at STV when we were there so we couldn't go in the ocean. When we left STV we were happy to be returning to Maroma, our second time, but because we were looking forward to our swim-up and the ocean. Unfortunately we had rain and wind during most of our stay at SMB. We will be more than happy to welcome you back.Hi cadillac! as you know we spent 6 days at each, starting 9/1.
